So, as you know, I read the Harry Potter series recently. Actually it kind of ended up consuming my life, and while I did enjoy the story in the end, I am glad to be done with it.
Anyway, I have been amazed since then how many times I see Harry Potter references EVERYWHERE now. Subtle ones, too. Like email addresses that have the name "Hedwig" in them, or a very subtle one that has the name "Romilda Vane" in it (I almost missed that reference). A Newsweek article that I read yesterday actually said something was "Voldemort-ish." Newsweek.
It's like a muggle suddenly realizing the wizarding world exists. Ha.
